Raman Gopalakrishnan, MD is the Founding Owner and Director of Riddle Psychiatry located in Media, PA. He completed his residency training in Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and simultaneously completed his Masters in Clinical Pharmacology at Thomas Jefferson University. After a 2 year stint as a Staff Psychiatrist with Delaware Corrections Unit , he completed a Research Fellowship at Philadelphia VA Medical Center and University of Pennsylvania with clinical trial experience. He is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine and has published scientific papers in peer reviewed journals and presented at national meetings. Dr. Raman has over 15 years clinical experience in Psychiatry and his area of expertise include Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Schizophrenia, Geriatric Psychiatry, Substance Use Disorders, and Dual Diagnosis Disorders.

Dr. Raman founded Riddle Psychiatry in 2012 to pursue his love of clinical practice. His busy outpatient practice at Riddle Memorial Hospital includes Nurse Practitioners, Therapists and Psychologists. The practice provides comprehensive outpatient psychiatric services for adults and adolescents including psychopharmacological medication management, diagnostic evaluation and testing, and psychotherapies. Dr Raman also provides Consultation Liaison Services for Riddle Memorial Hospital and is the lead psychiatrist at Fair Acres Medical Center – a 800+ bed geriatric nursing home located in Lima, PA. The collaboration with COPE to offer Ketamine infusion therapies is the latest addition to Riddle Psychiatry services.

Dr. Raman is married with 2 children. In his pastime, he loves running with his dog Maggie, watching his favorite football team – Philadelphia Eagles – and listening to Bruce Springsteen.
